Biochemistry & Immunology
Blood chemistry that shows how your organs are working — liver and kidney panels, glucose, lipids, electrolytes and enzymes — together with immunological markers used to investigate autoimmune and inflammatory conditions.
Hematology
Examination of blood cells and clotting — complete blood counts, ESR, peripheral smears and coagulation profiles used to detect anaemia, infection, bleeding disorders and blood cancers.
Microbiology
Identification of bacteria, fungi and parasites behind an infection. Cultures with antibiotic sensitivity testing, Gram stains and AFB microscopy help your doctor choose a targeted treatment.
Histopathology
Microscopic study of tissue taken at biopsy or surgery. Our pathologists process, section and stain the sample to diagnose cancers and inflammatory disease, and to report tumour type and grade.
Cytopathology
Study of individual cells rather than whole tissue. Pap smears, fine-needle aspiration (FNAC) and fluid cytology allow early detection of malignancy from a minimally invasive sample.
Molecular Diagnostics
Testing at the level of DNA and RNA. Real-time PCR, genotyping and mutation analysis for infectious agents, inherited conditions and the marker testing that guides targeted cancer therapy.
Immunofluorescence
Fluorescent-labelled antibodies used to locate specific proteins in tissue and serum — central to diagnosing autoimmune skin and kidney disease and neurological autoantibody syndromes.
Next Generation Sequencing
